Sydney Dragway venue takes shape for round 2

In the lead up to round 2 of the InsureMyRide Australian enduro-x national’s news is that final preparations are in place for the round 2 event at:

Sydney Dragway – Eastern Creek – Saturday Night 28th February 2015

Promotor of the enduro-x series, Dave Robbins announced today, “We have been working under lights to finish the track in time for Saturday nights event.   The final touches and testing is just going into place now. We are scheduled to complete the course tonight. I can assure spectators that Australian enduro-x racing in this natural Sydney Dragway amphitheatre under lights will be spectacular to watch and race on.

USA Husqvarna rider Mike Brown remains the rider to challenge the 2015 enduro-x crown. The expected challenges will come from Toby Price, Peter Boyle, Josh Green, Daniel Sanders, Tye Simmonds, Tom McCormack, Mitch Harper and Lachlan Stanford who all showed at times they had the pace to run with the American.

Sydney Dragway management report that all corporate box facilities are booked out for the enduro-x event. All classes of riders are full and spectator ticket pre sales have surpassed all previous Australian enduro-x events. With expected temperature around 28Deg it’s going to be a night of excitement and action. There are 9 trade stands to see including the new Suzuki RMX 450 along with BMW Motorrad and Husqvarna range. A Cannondale mountain bike and Mongoose BMX bike will be raffled on the night. Lukey Luke and his stunts will give 3 performances and will ensure a great night of entertainment at the world class Sydney Dragway facilities.

Enduro-x tickets are available at the gate, so there is no problem getting tickets at the venue, using eftpos/cash. Parking is free. Seating is free and available to all.

Programs are free. Bar and food facilities open.

Spectator gates open at 3.00pm (Practice). Racing starts at 4.00pm. Support class Finals start at 7.00pm. Pro Finals start at 9.00pm. 10.00pm event completion.

Organisers state a good time to arrive is around 6 .00pm and ask that spectators wear enclosed footwear to take a walk through the pits and see the riders.
